Renowned rapper Lupe Fiasco created a unique project at MIT, composing nine original raps inspired by campus artwork.
Using his 'ghotiing' approach, he wrote and recorded these pieces on location, resulting in site-specific musical interpretations.
Six of these raps debuted at the MIT Artfinity festival, performed by Fiasco and a talented group of MIT students and professors.
Collaborating with the MIT List Visual Arts Center, the project also features an augmented reality experience through QR codes.
